12) The Heritage Pledge to you:
1) Canceling Cancel Culture: The proponents of "Critical Race Theory" hope we will be unable to defend America's political legacy and values. Much of Heritage Institute's work this year is telling the real story and to tell the real story is to tell it by restoring accurate civics education. Power of Parents:
2) Power of Parents: The key to winning back the cultural consensus is "The Parent Engagement Project" which Heritage is piloting in Florida, Texas and Colorado. Soon to be added are Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. this will equip parents with the tools to make their voice count. The first principle guide will include the primary source documentary and videos. heritage.org.
3) Heritage Action: Edwin Feulner: Since its founding in 2010, Heritage Action has been using grassroots to pressure in Washington DC representing conservatives views. (to be Continued) A Blistering Letter by President of Heritage Foundation:
4) A Blistering Letter by President Kay James: In a blistering letter to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Heritage President Kay C. James excoriated the tech giant for abusing his platform to help the left.
5) Growing Grass Roots: The investment in building a grassroots infrastructure will enable Heritage Action to maintain a year-round network of activists in key states who can mobilize for any legislative fight that will define the conservatives movement.
6) Heritage Refuses Big Tech Donation: Heritage Foundation had first attempted to work with Google and Facebook but the Heritage goal is to stop censorship and give conservatives a voice in the process. When big tech revealed true intentions to silence any opinions, facts, or news events that contradicted their world view, Heritage stopped donations they had been accepting from both companies. In 2020 heritage President Kay James, in a sharply worded letter, refused $375,000 in pledges because of their blatant suppression of conservative content.
7) Four Priorities for 2021: Priority goals are finding companies preventing abuses by big tech: Google, Facebook, Twitter, and Amazon, which are accountable for silencing conservative voices. This work will be spearheaded by Heritage Institute's new Center for Technology Policy.
8) Working with Free Speech Allies: We will show cases when big tech giants violate their own terms of service and Community Standards that suppress free speech.
9) Tackling Threats we Face: All members are uniting the movement around the true principles of conservativism. We are tackling threats we face in censorship while working with grassroots groups.
10) Easy to Vote or Hard to Cheat? The November election dealt a devastating blow to America's trust in the integrity of our elections. In January the Heritage Foundation and Heritage Action for America launched a major initiative to restore that trust.
11) We will not be Canceled: You, as a Heritage member, are getting the ideas of liberty past the censors and into the hearts of more Americans. You are uniting the movement around which the principles of conservatism make us stronger. You are defending our nation in the face of Big Government, blacklisting, and socialism.
12 The Heritage Pledge: "We are committed to ensuring that the gifts we receive are spent in accordance with each donor's wishes and in ways consistent with Heritage Missions; to formulate and promote conservative public policies based on the principles of free enterprise, limited government, individual freedom; traditional American Values, and a strong national defense.
