A WAR THAT NO ONE WILL WIN AND EVERYONE LOSES
The truth is, I'm not. This is absolutely legitimate. China has very literally made threats to use nuclear weapons against a country if they get in their way.
Specifically, China threatened that they would nuke Japan if they so much as send a single soldier that interferes with China's take over of Taiwan.
We must do more to prevent nuclear war
In a video that has been circulated by the Ȼhinese Ȼommunist Party, they make this very strong threat:
“We are warning Japan and informing the world that if Japan interferes militarily in our domestic affairs, including the unification of Taiwan by the mainland, nuclear weapons will surely be used against Japan and will be used continuously until its unconditional surrender. There will be no peace talks in the meantime.”
“All political policies, tactics, and strategies must be adjusted and changed in the midst of such major change(s) in order to protect the ‘peaceful’ rise of our country. If Japan goes to war with China again they will take revenge on the old and new scores. Japan is the only country in the world to have been hit with atomic bombs. Nuclear deterrence against Japan will get twice the result with half the effort.”
This is ridiculously absurd and is a threat that could potentially start World War III. The world isn't just going to let China get away with something like this and then once everyone starts attacking China, you can bet that Russia and Iran are going to get involved and that's why I say it would start World War III.
Honestly, if anyone used a nuclear bomb on anyone, that is likely enough to start a new world war. That's no small matter. Let's hope that it doesn't come to this.
