The daily battles President Trump is facing we can't even imagine. We must keep the president and those genuine hearts for good in our prayers for God's protection, strength, comfort, wisdom. I pray God to have mercy on our nation and rescue us from the evil strongholds and forgive us for times we were silent or compromised or changed with the fallen world.
There are many choices of Bibles out there for reading through the Bible each day for a year. Each year you gain more and more perspective, wisdom and understanding.
The most important lesson from daily Bible reading? It validates our need for our Heavenly Father and a Savior every day. It makes clear how we always need to seek to know more and more and become more and more Christlike.
This journey of life outside of paradise needs a strong foundation in persevering and growing in God's purposes as we have a real enemy seeking to divert us from God and take us down his path of destruction.
Reading the Bible is like a stream in the desert. Being covered in scripture is a powerful arsenal. We learned this when Satan tempted Jesus 3 times. He responded each time with "It is written."
The Word is our life book for ourselves and to pray over others. It is a pure spring in the desert, and at Easter, we remember God's plan all along from the beginning of His Word to Revelation... He loves us and sent his only begotten Son for us, and JESUS WILL RETURN. He is Risen and will return!
May we anchor ourselves in the storms we face with the Rock of Ages, reading, meditating on His Word, praying intimate prayers, and remembering all others who need lifting up. Be Christian warriors for we indeed are in a fierce battle, of things seen and unseen. God in your mercy, deliver us from all evil.
MAY THE PEACE OF THE LORD BE WITH YOU AND OUR COUNTRY ON THIS EASTER SUNDAY!
