9th circuit court judge dies – Trump to appoint his replacement
One of the biggest liberal voices in our justice system has passed away.
Judge Stephen Reinhardt, 87, suddenly died while at an appointment at his dermatologist’s office on Thursday afternoon.
Jimmy Carter Appointee
Reinhardt has been sitting on the bench at the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals since 1980.Fittingly, what many conservatives feel was one of the worst presidential appointments to the courts was done so by one of the worst presidents of the modern era… Jimmy Carter.
While judges are supposed to put their political beliefs aside, this was something Reinhardt was clearly unable to do.
Reinhardt was also one of the judges that made it a point to become a thorn in President Trump’s side, specifically over immigration.

He was part of the crazy 9th circuit that has issued all sorts of nutty rulings over the years.Reinhardt was also one of the judges that made it a point to become a thorn in President Trump’s side, specifically over immigration.
When an undocumented immigrant was being deported, Reinhardt called the administration “inhumane.”
He challenged the decision, stating, “It is difficult to see how the government’s decision to expel him is consistent with the President’s promise of an immigration system with ‘a lot of heart.”
Trump Will Name His Replacement
For liberals, this is going to be a huge blow, as this is a position on one of the most influential courts in our country.This appointment will be one in a long list of judicial appointments that President Trump has and will be able to make during his time in office.
The President actually addressed this issue during his Ohio appearance on Thursday.
Trump stated, “When I got in, we had over 100 federal judges that weren’t appointed.”
He continued, “I don’t know why Obama left that. It was like a big, beautiful present to all of us. Why the hell did he leave that?”
Ours is not to question why, Mr. President. Ours is to take advantage of a colossal mistake and right a wrong that has been able to exist for far too long.
