Deuteronomy 31: 9-30: Chapters 31 and 32: AKJV Highlights (read all)
Moses wrote the law and delivered it to the sons of Levi, which bare the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord, and to all the elders of Israel. Moses commanded them: "At the end of every 7 years at the Feast of Tabernacles all Israel shall appear before the Lord in the place he shall choose and read the law before all Israel. Gather the people together: men, women and children, and strangers within the Gates (government) that they may hear and learn and observe to do all the words of the law written in the Book (Bible) that their children who have not known may hear and learn to fear the Lord, your God as long as you live in the land where you go over Jordan to possess it." _______. Then the Lord appeared in the tabernacle in a pillar of a cloud and said unto Moses: "Behold: You will sleep with your fathers and the people will rise up and go whoring after the gods of the strangers of the land where they go to be among them and will forsake ME and break My Covenant which I have made with them. My anger shall be kindled against them IN THAT DAY and I will forsake them. I will hide My Face from them and they shall be devoured. Many evils and troubles shall befall them so that they will say IN THAT DAY: "Are not these evils come upon US because our God is not among US?" Therefore, write this song and teach it to the Children of Israel. Put it in their mouths that this song may be a witness for ME against the Children of Israel. For when I have brought them into the land which I swore unto their fathers, that flows with milk and honey, and they shall be eaten and filled themselves and waxen fat, then will they turn to other gods and serve them and provoke Me and break My Covenant. It shall come to pass when many evils and troubles are befallen them that this song shall testify against them as a witness. For it shall not be forgotten out of the mouths of their seed: (children) For I know their imagination which they go about now, even before I have brought them into the land which I swore." ______. Moses, therefore, wrote this song that same day and taught it to the Children of Israel and he gave Joshua, the son of Nun, a charge and said: "Be strong and of good courage for you shall bring the Children of Israel into the land which I swore unto them and I will be with you." ______. It came to pass when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a Book until they were finished, that Moses commanded the Levites, which bore the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord, saying: "TAKE THIS BOOK OF THE LAW AND PUT IT IN THE SIDE OF THE ARK OF THE COVENANT OF THE LORD, YOUR GOD, THAT IT MAY BE THERE FOR A WITNESS AGAINST YOU, FOR I KNOW YOUR REBELLION AND YOUR STIFF NECK." ______. Gather unto me all the elders of your tribes (families) that I may speak these words in your ears and call heaven and earth to record against them. For I know that after my death you will corrupt yourselves and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you and EVIL WILL BEFALL YOU IN THE LATTER DAYS BECAUSE YOU WILL DO EVIL IN THE SIGHT OF THE LORD TO PROVOKE HIM TO ANGER THROUGH THE WORK OF YOUR HANDS."______. Moses spoke in the ears of all the congregation of Israel the words of this song until they were ended: "Give ear, O you heavens, and I will speak, and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth. My Doctrine shall drop as the rain. My speech shall distill as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass. Because I will publish the Name of the Lord: Ascribe greatness unto our God. He is the Rock. His work is perfect: For all His ways are judgment: A God of truth and without iniquity: Just and right is HE. They have corrupted themselves! Their spot is not the spot of His children: they are a perverse and crooked generation. Do you thus requite the Lord, O foolish people and unwise? Is not He your Father that has bought you? Has HE not made you and established you? Remember the days of old. Consider the years of many generations: Ask your father and he will show you: your elders and they will tell you. ______. When the Most High divided the nations in their inheritance; when He separate3d the sons of Adam: He sets the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel. For the Lord's portion is His people. Jacob is the lot of His inheritance. He found him in a desert land and in the waste howling wilderness. He led him about. He instructed him. He kept him as the apple of His eye. As an eagle stirs up her nest, fluttering over her young; spreading abroad her wings; takes them and bears them on her wings. So, the Lord alone did lead him. There was no strange god with him. He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields, and He made him to suck honey out of the rock and oil out of the flinty rock. Butter of kine (cows) and milk of sheep, with the fat of rams of the breed of Bashan and goats with the fat of kidneys of wheat; and he drank the pure blood of the grape. _______. But Jeshurun waxed fat and kicked: you are waxen fat; you are grown thick and covered with fatness. Then forsook the Lord your God which made you and lightly esteemed the Rock of your Salvation. You provoked Him to jealousy with strange gods. With abominations, they provoked Him to anger. They sacrificed unto devils and not to God: to gods whom they knew not: to gods who came newly up; whom your fathers feared not. Of the Rock that begat you, you are unmindful: You have forgotten God that formed you. When the Lord saw it He abhorred (hated) them because of the provoking of His sons and daughters. He said: "I will hide MY face from them and I will see what their end shall be. For they are a very froward generation; children in whom there is no faith. They have moved ME to jealousy with that which is not God. They have provoked me into anger with their vanities: I will move them to jealousy toward those who are not people. I will provoke them into angering a foolish nation. For a fire is kindled in MY anger and shall burn unto the lowest hell and shall consume the earth with her increase and set on fire the foundations of the mountains. I will heap mischiefs upon them. I will spend My arrows upon them. They shall be burnt with hunger and devoured with burning heat and bitter destruction: I will send the teeth of beasts upon them with the poison of the serpents of the dust. The sword without and terror within shall destroy the young man and the virgin; the suckling also with the men of gray hair. I said I would scatter them into corners. I would make the memory of them to cease from among men. Were it not that I feared the wrath of the enemy; lest their adversaries should behave themselves strangely and they should say: "Our hand is high and the Lorde has not done all this. For they are a nation void of counsel. Neither is there any understanding in them? O that they were wise, that they understood this: That they would consider their latter end! _______. How should one chase a thousand and two put ten thousand to flight except that their Rock had sold them and the Lord had shut them up? (Joshua 23:10,11:) For their rock is not like our Rock. Even our enemies being judges. Their vine is as the vine of Sodom and the fields of Gomorrah. Their grapes are grapes of gall. Their clusters are bitter. Their wine is the poison of dragons and the cruel venom of asps. Is not this laid up with ME and sealed up among MY treasures? To ME belongs vengeance and recompense. Their foot shall slide in due time. For the day of their calamity is at hand. See now that I AM GOD and there is no god with ME. I kill and I make alive. I wound and I heal. Neither is there any that can deliver out of MY hand? For I lift up MY hand to Heaven and say I live forever. Rejoice O you nations with His people. For HE will avenge the blood of His servants and will be merciful unto His land and to His people.________. Moses spoke all the words of this song in the ears of the people and made an end of speaking all these words to all Israel.

1 Peter 2:9 and 10: (AKJV) "You are a chosen generation: a royal priesthood that you should show forth the praise of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light: a holy nation, which in time past was not a people but are now the people of God; which in time past had not obtained mercy but have now obtained mercy."
Nehemiah's National Prayer: In chapter one certain men of Juda spoke to Nehemiah about the Jews which had escaped, which were left from captivity in the city of Jerusalem. The remnant left were in great affliction and reproach. The wall of Jerusalem was broken down and the Gates were burned with fire. Nehemiah set down and wept and mourned certain days and fasted and prayed before the God of Heaven._________. "I beseech You O God that keeps Covenant and mercy for them that love You and observe Your Commandments: Hear the prayer of Your servant, which I pray before You day and night for the Children of Israel and confess the sins which we have sinned against You. Both we and our father's house have sinned. * Remember the Word that You commanded Moses, saying: *If you transgress I will scatter you among the nations: But if you turn to Me and keep My commandments and do them: Though there were of you cast out unto the uttermost part of Heaven: Yet will I gather you and bring you to the place that I have chosen to set My Name there:" (maybe the USA?) 1 Peter 2:9.10) Now Lord, these are Your servants and Your people whom You have redeemed by Your Great Power and Your strong hand. O Lord, let Your ear be attentive to the prayer of Your servant and of Your servants who desire to fear Your Name and prosper Your servants this day. Grant me mercy in the sight of the king. For I was his cupbearer. I took the wine and gave it to the king. I had not been sad in his presence before. The king asked: "Why are you sad? This is a sorrow of heart." Then I was very afraid. I said to the king: "O king: Live forever: Why should I not be sad when the city, the place of my father's sepulchers lie waste and the Gates are consumed with fire?" So I prayed to the God of Heaven. Then I asked the king to send me unto Judah that I may build it. It pleased the king and the queen to send me so I set them a time. Then I came to the governors across the river and gave them letters from the king. The king had sent captains from the army and horsemen with me. _______. I came to Jerusalem and was there for three days. I arose in the night: I and a few men with me. I told no one what God had put in my heart to do in Jerusalem. I went out by night before the dragon well in the valley. I went along with the beast I rode on and I viewed the walls of Jerusalem which were broken down and the Gates which were burned with fire. I went to the Fountain at the king's pool and into the night by the brook and viewed the wall. Then I turned back by the Gate in the valley and returned. The rulers did not know where I went nor what I did. I did not tell the Jews, nor the priests; nor nobles, nor the rest of the people who did the work. _______. I said to them: "Let us build the wall." I told the people of the hand of my God which was good upon me: also the king's words. Then the people said: "Let us rise up and build." So they strengthened their hands for this good work. The other nations laughed us to scorn and accused us of rebelling against the king. I, Nehemiah, answered them and said: "The God of Heaven will prosper us. Therefore, we, His servants, will arise and build: But other nations have no portion; nor right; nor memorial in Jerusalem!"

"It shall come to pass when all these things shall come upon you and you return to the Lord, your God, and obey His voice, you and your children, with all your heart and soul, and the Lord has brought you into the Land which your fathers possessed, He will do you good and multiply you above all other nations. He will circumcise your heart and the heart of your seed (children) to love the Lord that you may live. _______. The Lord will put these curses on your enemies who hate you and persecute you. The Lord will rejoice over you for good, as He rejoiced over your fathers if you shall hearken unto His voice to keep His Commandments and statutes, which are written in this Book of the law, and turn unto the Lord with all your heart and all your soul. For this Commandment is not hidden. Neither is it far off. But the word is very near unto you. It is in your mouth and in your heart that you may do it. _______. I have set before you life and good and death and evil. I Command you to love the Lord, your God and walk in His ways. Keep His Commandments, His statutes, and His judgments that you may live and multiply and the Lord will bless you in the Land where you go to possess. But_____. IF YOUR HEART TURN AWAY THAT YOU SHALL NOT HEAR AND BE DRAWN AWAY TO WORSHIP OTHER gods and serve them I denounce unto you this day: You shall perish and you shall not prolong your days upon the land which you go to possess! I CALL HEAVEN AND EARTH TO RECORD THIS DAY AGAINST YOU! I HAVE SET BEFORE YOU LIFE AND DEATH: BLESSING AND CURSING: THAT YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN MAY LIVE! THAT YOU MAY LOVE THE LORD, YOUR GOD, AND OBEY HIS VOICE AND CLEAVE UNTO HIM. FOR HE IS YOUR LIFE AND THE LENGTH OF DAYS THAT YOU MAY DWELL IN THE LAND WHICH THE LORD, YOUR GOD, SWORE TO GIVE UNTO YOUR FATHERS, ABRAHAM, ISAAC, AND JACOB." _____. Then Moses spoke to all the children of Israel: "I am 120 years old and can no longer go out and come in. The Lord will go over before you and Joshua will go over as the Lord has said. The Lord shall destroy these nations from before you. Do all that I have Commanded. Be strong and of good courage. Fear not, nor be afraid of them. For the Lord will go before you. He will not fail you, nor forsake you."
