Just like the President, we limit them because issues in our country are constantly changing. So why shouldn’t the same happen with our Congress?
Politicians' ideas need to change as time and society changes. And we put a term limit on the president to keep them from having too much power. How is that any different than our Congress member. The longer they are in office, the more power they gain. The US government was designed to keep a limit of power, and a term limit would heavily help with this fundamental idea of the US government.
