“And So It Begins”
It was the first day of the Senate trial. In his opening remarks Senate Minority leader, Chuck Schumer, proved once again that he is a VICIOUS man, so utterly VILE. He called the rules approved by the GOP majority a “national disgrace”. He ridiculed McConnell’s claim that his rules created a level playing field. Schumer was amazed that the Majority Leader said that with a straight face. With those cockamamie eyeglasses dangling from the tip of his nose he went on to accuse Trump of blackmailing a foreign government and committing a crime against democracy. It was your typical Schumer performance played to the hilt. This scumbag of scumbags is convinced of Trump’s guilt. We are not surprised by how he behaves. It was appalling to hear what he had to say. The Founding Fathers surely must have been turning in their graves. This was all a warmup to what we were subjected to on this day. The appearance of Adam Schiff was but a few moments away
Of course, this disgusting piece of vermin, tried his best to control the Senate Trial. What else would you expect from PENCIL NECK? for being tactful is really not his style. He had the BALLS to tell the Senate that Trump is indeed GUILTY if they do not do what he says. This plays so well with the PARTY OF HATE’S lunatic base. You can be sure it resonated with the likes of Alexandria Ocasio Cortez. The House Managers have made it very clear that if no witnesses or new evidence is allowed then this proves the guilt of our President. Really?? This makes not a bit of sense if you ask me. We hope and pray that the front of the Republicans is what we continue to see. Their majority is slim if they lose four of their members then the PARTY OF HATE can be successful in fighting a quick dismissal. No one doubts that there will not be an acquittal. The fact is that this whole trial not be dragged out for weeks for there is much at stake. Didn’t Nadler say that the evidence they had was overwhelming? Then why is there a need for more evidence? The truth is, as we all know, they have a very weak case for Heaven's sake!!
On and on it went. The amendments Schumer proposed went down to defeat. There were no crossovers I must note. As it is with most everything it was a strict party-line vote. The House Managers used their time to repeat and repeat their talking points endlessly. We got to finally hear Trump’s side. His legal team performed excellently. Jeff Sessions summed up the day very well with a line that made perfect sense, “The Democrat Impeachment effort was a political attack ad on our President at the tax payer’s expense.”
Apparently, they have not learned their lesson from this election loss. In Congress, they apparently are determined to stay in the minority. Need proof?? Their caucus leadership is still in the hands of that brainless twit, Nancy Pelosi. George Soros will still pull the strings more than ever. It is his bidding they will continue to do as they will further move Left and off a cliff, they will surely go. It's a death wish they have and their radicalism will soon bury them. Mark my words. This will be so.
