Pelosi DOUBLE CROSSED – Democrats Are In Shock
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was just double-crossed. Democrats are in shock and likely pointing fingers — no one expected this to happen.
According to the Washington Post’s Rachel Bade, Pelosi has been “clearly putting a positive spin on what a lot of Democrats have privately said was a failed strategy” on impeachment.
Bade went on to explain how Pelosi and Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) were unable to get a commitment on Senate witnesses or a resolution on how the trial would be handled.
For these reasons, the political conversation has been about why Pelosi is holding onto the articles of impeachment and the effectiveness of such a move.
While Pelosi’s team has said “she was able to hold out, there was a bunch of new revelations that happened over the holiday break,” noted Bade, “Those things probably would have happened regardless.”
So where does this leave Pelosi’s insane impeachment push? Dead in the water. Democrats know it and aren’t happy. Even a Washington Post reporter is admitting the failure now.
