Angel Mom Slams Pelosi's Whining About Cost of Border Wall: 'My Son's Life Was Priceless'
Mothers who have had children killed by illegal aliens are rallying at a San Diego, California port of entry this week to demand Congress fund construction of a border wall.
Angel Families Founder Mary Ann Mendoza, whose son, Police Officer Brandon Mendoza, was killed by an illegal alien, says recent comments by Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) opposing wall funding prompted her to hold a press conference:
“Angel Families decided that we needed to do a press conference here at a port of entry – especially, in light of what happened the White House the other day with Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer,” Mendoza told One America News Network.
“My son’s life was priceless,” Mendoza said, chiding Pelosi for claiming a border wall is too expensive:
“Nancy Pelosi talks all the time about what a waste of money the wall is. But, what Nancy Pelosi fails to do is talk about what will happen if we don’t build the wall.“As far as I’m concerned, my son’s life was priceless. And, he didn’t deserve to die the way he did.”
Angel Families are calling on Pres. Trump to shut down the government, if that’s what it will take to get funding for the border wall:
“We want to let President Trump know that Angel Families backs his plan up to shut down the government until we get border funding for our wall.“And, so, this is why Angel Families wanted to come here and make our point and tell our politicians to get off their duffs, that they need to do something to protect Americans – and not one more American life should be lost at the hand of an illegal criminal.”
