Judge upholds Texas’ voter ID law in major defeat to Soros legal efforts

Texas has once again given conservatives hope there is some common sense in our judicial system.

After years of battling, the United States 5th Circuit Court of Appeals has upheld Texas voter identification laws, dealing George Soros a huge blow.

The Ruling

This case has been in the headlines dating back to the presidential primaries.

Liberals challenged the Texas voter ID laws, saying the laws were racist and preventing the poor people and minorities in Texas from being able to vote.

Trying to appease the Democrat cry, Texas expanded the types of IDs that could be used to register to vote.

The court has appeased them even more, further extending the types of IDs acceptable as well as lengthening the term for expired IDs to be used.

State Attorney General Ken Paxton was delighted with the ruling.

Paxton stated, “The court rightly recognized that when the Legislature passed the Senate Bill 5 last season, it complied with every change the 5th Circuit ordered to the original voter ID law.”

“Safeguarding the integrity of our elections is essential to preserving our democracy,” Paxton added.

Ties to Soros

Texas is not the only state in the Union dealing with these frivolous suits.

Not surprisingly, it has been revealed most of, if not all of, these suits are being bankrolled by none other than George Soros.

Soros was first approached by one of Hillary Clinton’s attorney during the presidential election season.

Her campaign wanted Soros to bankroll the lawsuits to hopefully give her an edge in the presidential election.

Soros was more than happy to be their money man and even admitted as much to the New York Times.

During an interview with the publication, Soros stated, “We hope to see these unfair laws, which often disproportionally affect the most vulnerable in our society, repealed.”

At the time, it was estimated that Soros had ponied up roughly $5 million to fight voter ID laws.
