What form that divorce will take will depend on which side has the greatest political power. As it stands right now the liberal side has the majority of the power and conservative side is whistling in Dixie if they think they can convince the majority of the long-term benefits of freedom and liberty. The left (the majority) has tasted the sweet fruits of socialism and they like the flavor, oblivious of the horror that socialism eventually inflicts upon its victims.
There are only two paths to take. The first path is to let socialism burn itself out as it usually does, maybe in a century or so. The second path is some kind of war between the two sides to settle their irreconcilable differences, now. It could be a non-violent war or open civil war.
The realities are staring conservatives in the face, but they refuse to accept those realities. The left owns most politicians, the deep state, the news media, academia, our entertainment and social media. They have re-programmed our public schools into institutions of socialist and environmental indoctrination. Liberal colleges are just an extension of that indoctrination. They own the money, the land, the water, the food, the energy, health care and now the weather. They own the street that you live on and the power, water and sewer that service it. They own the cells in your body and the thoughts they put in your brain. They can manipulate you to do almost anything they want you to do and they are so subtle and treacherous, you don’t even know they are doing it.
The ideologies of socialism and communism surround you and administered by Progressive elites and the Deep State. Government spies on you. It owns the banks in which you deposit your money. The government can confiscate every penny you have in that bank under the law. If you don’t believe us, ask your bank for the government document or documents that are referenced in your bank signature card. Mention the Dodd-Frank Act.
Under asset forfeiture laws, the government (law enforcement) can take everything you own and sell it at auction for their own use, even if you are innocent. Good luck in getting it returned.
Under red flag laws, the government can take your guns away merely on the word of an anonymous person. You can spend thousands of dollars and years of litigation to get your weapons back. How long will it be before government convinces you that owning a gun is hazardous to your health and they are coming to your home to get your guns under the guise of public health and safety laws ….. with a SWAT team?
Right now your U. S. Senators are opening the door to massive LEGAL immigration under Senate Bill 386 and expanding H1B visas, taking hundreds of thousands of jobs away from legal Americans. They want to give these legal immigrants voting rights and citizenship. Are your representatives working for you? Hardly!
Government agents and law enforcement already have an implied license, sanctioned by the U. S. Supreme Court, to trespass on your property at will. But this is where you CAN fight back. By government law, under the United Nations Agenda 21 policies and in the name of smart growth and sustainable development, you are being secretly driven into large urban centers where the government is better able to control you. They don’t want you living in suburban or rural areas where you might get thoughts of independence ….. or resistance. You are being controlled by an alphabet soup of government agencies with names like IRS, EPA, BLM, DOE, DHS, etc. who can create law without legislative approval, in violation of Article 1, Section 1 of the U. S. Constitution. God help you if you violate one of their laws.
You are an indentured debt holder of the national debt, which now approaches $23 Trillion and climbing rapidly. Your individual portion of that debt is around $70,000. If the Democrats come into power, you will see your obligation rise exponentially. They don’t care about the national debt. They only care about buying your vote to gain power, even if it means increasing the debt to do it.
You don’t own your land anymore because the government can now take your land under eminent domain for an economic purpose, where before they could only take your land for a clearly defined public purpose.
The government can pass regulations that can take away virtually 100% of the use of your property before the government is forced to pay you “just compensation” under the Fifth Amendment. While they are scaring you to death with threats of condemnation, they work behind the scenes to reduce what they have to pay you or wear you down with huge court costs and attorney’s fees. They can down zone your property or declare it a wetland to reduce your land’s value, all legally of course.
You are not a free, sovereign human being anymore, living under the Constitutional Republic. You are a slave and a pawn living under an Absolute Democrat Monarchy. Sadly, you just don’t know it yet.
What you see today in newspapers, the web, social media, in movies, or on TV is a carefully orchestrated manipulation of your entire life. You are tracked, funneled, pushed, shoved and directed to the bang of the government’s and the environmentalist’s (Climate Change) drummer.
What on earth makes anyone think they can turn back the clock? Trump and his followers are trying but look how hard it has been. The Progressives and Deep State could very likely take him down.
Now that we have been fully immersed in socialism and radical environmentalism for at least five decades, is there any hope of undoing what has been done, when so many American citizens have forsaken freedom and liberty in exchange for the phantom veil of security, comfort and “free” stuff?
How can we turn back the clock to a time when Americans were self-reliant instead of dependent, when they were responsible for their actions instead of being excused for them because they are alleged victims of all of society’s ills, or when the rule of law meant something, or when there were individuals with individual rights, not part of a collective where only the collective has rights, or when they looked to themselves to get out of a scrape, instead of holding their outstretched hands to a nanny government for rescue and salvation?
How can we unravel the tangled web of razor wire that is our legal and unjust justice system, or roll back millions of social or environmental laws? How do you convince lawmakers that what they are doing is sapping the very strength and vitality out of our people by being everything for them and regulating every aspect of their lives, making them slaves?
How do you round up and send 22,000,000 illegal aliens back across the border they chose to violate because our government and special interests created magnets for them to come here in the first place? How do we stop the hemorrhaging of our tax dollars to an ever-rising crisis that is illegal immigration?
How do you tell a person that the handouts they are receiving from the government are coming from someone else’s sweat, labor, and earnings and that what they are accepting is morally wrong, even though several generations in their extended family have been receiving those handouts?
There are those in our society that need our help, but should that help come from the government? Should it not be the outpouring of genuine compassion through those entities that are best able to efficiently administer it, in the private sector? Unfortunately, there are way too many people in America that are getting government help that shouldn’t be and the cost to our treasury and to the recipient’s independence and pride is astronomical.
Finally, how do you undo the power that our government has amassed by violating the constitutional limits on its powers for a hundred years, while WE THE PEOPLE looked the other way?
There are two unchangeable axioms that are as inviolate as the Sun coming up in the morning. 1) Those receiving a promise from government, (welfare) resist giving it up and will fight tooth and nail to preserve it. It doesn’t matter to them the source of the welfare, and 2) power grows exponentially beyond its limits, unless there is a corresponding power to inhibit it.
It took 156 years from 1620 to 1776 for the colonials to have enough of England and King George III to jump-start their clock forward to freedom and liberty and they paid an incalculable price, the greatest price and the greatest sacrifice of all, the giving of one’s life for liberty. Will it take another 156 years for Americans to finally see the light and commit themselves to the fight for freedom? Perhaps in 2050, we will be closer to an answer. It is highly unlikely!
But all the conservative talk shows, all the rhetoric, all the protests, and all the articles in the world will not turn back the clock to America’s finer yesteryear. Either the believers and fighters in the defense of freedom and liberty coalesce as one on a grand scale, or the hands of the American clock will click ever onward towards abject socialism, radical environmentalism and the one world order. The clock’s inertia is almost 100 years old. The Pendulum of our clock swings ever wider towards enslavement, as freedom smiles from a distance and then fades into a dim memory of all things past. The only human characteristics that will set things right and return this once-great land to its former greatness is vehemence, determination, boldness, courage and the willingness to risk all by the multitudes who seek freedom, so that future generations will be and remain free. Nothing less will turn back the clock of time, or jump it forward to a brighter future in the brilliant light of freedom and liberty, from which the pursuit of all happiness springs. Or, one day we could all end up like Jeremy in “Back To The Future – The Obama Legacy.”
Abraham Lincoln best described the American Clock to which we should return when he said:
“You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift. You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. You cannot help the wage earner by pulling down the wage payer. You cannot further the brotherhood of man by encouraging class hatred. You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich. You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than you earn. You cannot build character and courage by taking away man’s initiative and independence. You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves.”
But that is exactly what Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and most Democrats want to do.
The halls of our government have been taken over by traitors from within. They bring servitude instead of freedom, phantom security instead of liberty, and pride-killing dependence instead of self-reliance. We must be forever on our guard to prevent the traitor from convincing us that we are but victims and are in constant need of our father-mother government to watch out over us. Even 2,000 years ago, wise men knew the evils of the traitor within and the devil that stalks freedom in the night and in the back rooms where ambitious men lay the seeds of slavery (Medicare) for all.
This takes us back to the first or second paths Americans will eventually follow; let socialism burn itself out in a hundred years, or go to war over irreconcilable differences.
One day we may have no other choice but to, “Pick Up A Sword To Save Freedom”, or hide in the shadows like a coward, while our countrymen are slaughtered in the name of socialism.
