David is a native Texan and former professional engineer, SCUBA instructor, Christian school founder, and missionary pilot. Deeply disturbed at the many unanswered questions of the 9/11 attacks and widespread government corruption, David took a 14-month sabbatical from his engineering practice to study the core drivers of our national malaise and confusion, praying for direction and answers. This led to his writing the first draft of the AmericaAgain! Declaration in 2006 and the founding of AmericaAgain! Trust with his brother Oscar, a fellow engineer.
Based on the warranty language in the 28th Federalist, David developed an unprecedented enforcement mechanism for the U.S. Constitution. The AmericaAgain! Indictment Engine™ would be a mobile app allowing citizens to finally track and arrest government corruption.
His 2010 book "This Bloodless Liberty" was Zuniga's first attempt to explain how AmericaAgain! intended to fulfill the vision. In 2015, he published the first edition of "Fear The People", now in its fourth edition, adding much more detail to the plan of action.
In 2016, the trust launched its action mission, called TACTICAL CIVICS™, which has launched 71 chapters across the republic as of October 2018. With co-author Daniel D. New, Zuniga published the "TACTICAL CIVICS™ Chapter Leader's Handbook" to train and counsel new chapter leaders in the organization's objectives and policies.
Because deprogramming Americans from futile electoral politics and into the duties of true popular sovereignty will be a long-term mission entailing many areas of endeavor, David is presently writing a 7-volume series, each explaining one vital aspect of popular sovereignty in America.
