Just When Jim Acosta Thought He Could Gloat, He Gets Very Bad News From The White House
Jim Acosta is an insufferable, pathetic excuse for a reporter.
It’s not because he’s on the left. Nearly everyone in the White House press pool is on the left, and can’t even hide their blatant, anti-Trump bias in the questions they choose to ask the President or the way they and their outlets report on his administration.
Most of them can, however, act like an actual adult during the White House press briefings.
Not Jim Acosta. Jim Acosta, who doesn’t seem to have any ideology other than being totally obsessed with himself and utterly ignorant of his own buffoonery, acts like a spoiled brat during press briefings, and he finally got a rap across the wrist for it.
In case you missed it, which would be surprising, Acosta, CNN’s White House correspondent, recently had his hard pass to the White House revoked due to his refusal to give the microphone up to a White House intern on November 7th.
Physically pushing the petite, female intern away from him as he continued to press the President, Acosta topped all his previous attempts to make the news entirely about him that day.
We stand by our decision to revoke this individual’s hard pass. We will not tolerate the inappropriate behavior clearly documented in this video.
Of course, when his pass got revoked, he and his network made a big fat fuss about it and a judge ultimately ruled he should have the pass restored to him.
Technically, however, as The Hill reports, what the judged issued a temporary restraining order that his pass should be restored.
U.S. District Court Judge Timothy Kelly, in fact, made it quite clear that, contrary to the mainstream media narrative, the White House was not infringing on Acosta’s rights, but rather, the government was unable to make clear who had initially decided to revoke the hard pass.
The temporary restraining order typically lasts about 14 days.
And when the 14 days are up…there’s bad news for Acosta.
Brian Stelter of “Reliable Sources” revealed Monday that Acosta had received a letter “stating that his pass is set to be suspended again once the restraining order expires.”
The Washington Post reported that the letter, sent by White House Press Sec. Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications, Bill Shine, explained that Acosta had “violated the basic standards governing (news conferences), and is, in our preliminary judgment, sufficient factual basis to revoke your hard pass.”
The White House has issued a new warning to CNN's Jim @Acosta, saying his press pass could be revoked again at the end of the month. In response, @CNN is asking the U.S. District Court to hold another hearing next week. Here's my full story... cnn.com/2018/11/19/med…

“From the looks of the letter, the W.H. is trying to establish a paper trail that will empower the administration to boot Acosta again at the end of the month. pointing out that as soon as the restraining order expires, his press pass will be suspended again,” Stelter wrote.
He then quoted a CNN statement on the letter which doubles-down on the narrative that constitutional rights are somehow being violated:
“The White House is continuing to violate the First and 5th Amendments of the Constitution. These actions threaten all journalists and news organizations. Jim Acosta and CNN will continue to report the news about the White House and the President.”
Yeah…not really. As the judge already made clear, no ones’ First Amendment rights are in danger. CNN and Acosta can still write, say, and publish whatever the bloody heck they want to.
As for the Fifth Amendment, here’s what it says:
No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.
If you’re scratching your head trying to figure out how CNN or Jim Acosta are being made to answer for a crime, tried for double jeopardy, being compelled to be a witness against themselves, being withheld from due process, or having their private property taken away…that’s probably because they ’re not.
The Fifth Amendment has literally nothing to do with what’s going on here.
What’s going on here is that CNN and Jim Acosta are both throwing toddler-style tantrums because POTUS got fed up with their biased, unprofessional nonsense.
