Why Mueller Won't Produce an Impeachment Report

This past week offered some signs that Robert Mueller is finally winding down his cover-up operation with no findings of high crimes or misdemeanors against the president. Considering the damage the political hacks in Obama's law enforcement and intelligence agencies have inflicted on the nation, let's consider the reasons we can hope so and where this sorry saga goes from here.

The President is taking the border crisis fight to the people, and as is typical with any important issue, the deep state returns with a fetid Russia story fed like pablum to the masses by the NYT and WaPo.

The stories are always embellished, hysterical in fact, but rarely with named sources or evidence, as is the case of the latest New York Times’ and Washington Posts’ Putin pile-ons.

It’s not only about the border, but it’s also about the Mueller report to come, and the overall goal — to depose the President.

The NYT tale contends the President was investigated as a possible Russian agent or dupe of Russia. If this were in a spy novel, it would be shunned by critics as fantastical, because it is. You can’t make this stuff up.

The deep state is real, you know, and sometimes it’s our friend, but not now, now it’s our enemy. It’s the deep state that gave 97% of their donations to Democrats. Since they’ve moved left, it’s become far more political, less effective as law enforcement, but almighty powerful as a political enforcer.

Sen. Steve Daines Introduces Bill Withholding Pay From Congressmen During Government Shutdowns, Others Join

Republican Montana Sen. Steve Daines introduced a bill on the Senate floor Thursday that would withhold the pay of members of Congress during future government shutdowns.

Daines’ introduction of the bill, sponsored by Republican Texas Sen. John Cornyn, comes hours after Daines announced he sent a letter requesting the secretary of the U.S. Senate withholds his pay during the ongoing partial shutdown of the federal government.

“Members of Congress are sent to Washington, D.C., to represent the great people of their state and keep the federal government open, working, and funded. So it’s simple. If they can’t do that, they shouldn’t get paid. No work, no pay,” Daines told The Daily Caller News Foundation after the bill was introduced.
