Christmas is supposed to be a time of great joy, yet many people struggle to find God’s joy and peace this time of year. Whether because of financial pressures, strained relationships, health problems, or just the busyness of the holidays, some people see Christmas as a time of stress, pain, or depression rather than joy.
So how can God intervene in your circumstances this year, giving you a holiday season that is truly filled with His peace and joy? Sometimes amid all the festivities and anxiety of the Christmas season, it’s easy to forget…
Right from the beginning, Christmas was a time of miracles!
Mary must have been stunned when the angel Gabriel appeared one day and told her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!” (Luke 1:28)
Of course, the angel’s message was great news. Mary was “highly favored”…the Lord was with her…and she was blessed!
Take a few moments to read Gabriel’s proclamation again, because God wants to give YOU this same message today. He wants you to know you are highly favored and blessed. And He wants to reveal Himself as Immanuel, the One who is always with you (Matthew 1:23).
However, Mary didn’t immediately celebrate Gabriel’s announcement. “She was troubled,” and the mighty angel had to calm her fears: “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God” (Luke 1:29-30).
What a great lesson for us: Mary was right on the brink of an incredible breakthrough of God’s favor, but she had to overcome FEAR.
My friend, hear this message loud and clear: You must never allow fear to hold you back from obeying God and receiving His blessings in your life!
Nothing Is Impossible
If someone promised to give you their favor, that would be a good thing. But the value of that favor would be limited to the resources they were able to offer you.
Yet Mary “found favor with God”—favor that was supernatural and unlimited! Her son would be Jesus, the Savior: “He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest” (Luke 1:32).
God was about to do something GREAT in Mary’s life, and I’m convinced He wants to do something great in your life as well. But perhaps you are skeptical, just as Mary was: “How can this be?” she asked (Luke 1:34).
Mary knew that God’s incredible promises to her were impossible without a miracle, and Gabriel explained how the miracle would occur: “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you” (Luke 1:35).
In a similar way, God wants His power to “overshadow” whatever difficult situation you’re facing today. A health crisis? A family conflict? A financial setback? No matter what you are dealing with, God can give you victory through His supernatural favor.
“But David,” you may be thinking, “my problems are so severe I doubt even God can help me!”
Mary must have felt the same way. That’s why Gabriel told her this amazing truth…
“With God, NOTHING will be impossible!”
When the Bible says nothing is impossible with God, it means NOTHING. So go ahead and pray BIG prayers for your Christmas miracle! But as you pray, make sure to listen for God’s instructions, as Mary did. “Let it be to me according to your word” (Luke 1:38). You see, God wanted to do miracles in Mary’s life, but it was crucial for her to submit her life to Him and obey His directives.

PART -2 THE CHRISTMAS TO REMEMBER
THIS IS A TRUE STORY IT HAPPENED TO ME, RICHARD MILLER
THE FAMILY IN NEED CONTINUED BELOW
So now it really is coming together, but I need help to gather all the stuff up and take it to these people out in the woods, I tell my wife, of the problem I have and she says she's got it covered, she asks me when do I need the help, I say wed before Thanksgiving if possible, so as it turns out the people who collected the clothes and money pitch in and help me deliver the Food, Money, and clothes, with an envelope I put a note in with the 500 dollars cash that reads your turkey will be delivered on Thursday at 1:00 pm cooked and on the envelope I write: ( Nothing is impossible with Him ) Merry Christmas. I tell the people who are helping me that I don't want them to see us when we drop off this Stuff and as luck would have it, nobodies, home or there, so we place the boxes of food and clothes on the porch of the cabin and I tack the envelope to the door jam of the cabin.
THE CHRISTMAS TO REMEMBER
In the meantime, my Friend Lou comes back from visiting his mother and all is good with him he says it was a minor attack she had, I tell Lou what's been happening while he was away and ask him for a favor if he would deliver the cooked turkey to the family in the woods, he says sure where is it, well I tell him I will drop it off to him for Delivery around 12:30 on Thursday on Thanksgiving Day, but you must deliver by 1:00 o'clock I tell him he says it will be there, that's great I say and thanks. So in the meantime, Ray who owns the 200aces and cabin goes out and meets with the people in the cabin, its a success from what Lou tells me, Ray gives the guy in the woods which his name is Bill, by the way, the job as the official Caretaker, and tells him he will renovate the cabin and put in a well for water and a wood stove for cooking and heat and windows and so on.
Than Heney's auto mechanic shows up and tells Bill he's there to look at his Jimmy to order parts to fix it for him and Bill says I can't pay you I haven't any money, the guy Sal tells him its been taken care of not to worry. Bill begins to cry like a baby, Lou asks him if he's alright, and he begins to thank Lou and Lou say stop, it was not him but a good friend of his that did all this for you, Bill tells him this is like a dream it can't be really happening and Lou assures him its the real deal and if he knows anything about me this is only the beginning.
And Lou was right, not known to him I had already started a Christmas list for Bill and his family and had a made a good friend out of the food basket guy prior that, I had first met, he also ran the Christmas toys baskets for Tots, Mark was his name he took one look at me a busted out laughing, and say you again! I said Who else did you expect? Santa Clause! And we both were laughing, he said what do you need, same people, Yes I said little boy and a girl about 7 or 8 years old and to my surprise, it turned out to be like four baskets of toys more than enough, He says will I see you next Thanksgiving and Christmas,I tell him God Bless you and your Family, Mark, I don't Know only if God wants me to help another family in need, and to have a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
In the meantime, things are progress very nicely with Bill and his Family in the woods as report to me by Lou my friend. He says you won't recognize the shack or cabin inside and out has been modernized and they got Bills Jimmy running like new Bill tells him. And next week they are drilling a well for water for the cabin, I say to Lou I need another favor from you if you will play Santa Clause and delivery some toys for the children for me, he says as long as he doesn't have to dress up for the part in a Santa Suit ,I say to him only if you want to ,he tells me to get out ,I drop the toys off with Lou and tell him to try and deliver them before Christmas to Bill, for his family ,Bill and Lou meet up, and Lou help him load all the toys for his children in his now running Jimmy after they are done ,Bill begins to cry, Lou says to Bill Christmas is a happy time ,than he tells Lou about his Prayers for help and that he had almost given up hope, and Lou being a good Christian he tells him That God works in many different ways and maybe my friend is answering your prayers ,How can that be says Bill, well Lou says when he saw your two children half naked before thankgiving out in the cold, he got this strange look in his eyes and want to know more about you and your Family and than he said to me I have to help these people Lou. As told to me by my friend Lou.
The Conclusion
Well Christmas is only 3days away, and Bill and his family have the toys I collected for them and all the other stuff from Thanksgiving and the church down the road has got Bill and his Family going back to church on Sundays, everything is coming together the church put a good word in for Bills wife, Sara with one of the school board members goes to the same church,guess what she got a job as a teacher in the local school and Bill was given the night watchman job at Ray's company.
I had not met Bill and Sara in person, and according to my friend Lou I was invited to breakfast at Bill and Sara's cabin in the woods Christmas Day, I ask Lou want time, he said 9: o'clock. So I went and met Bill and Sara and they look at me like I was God which, I broke the spell and asked them how they like their new cabin, they both started to talk at the same time and we all laughed. And guess what Lou was right the cabin looked like a real home now not just a shack, with Bills Jimmy parked alongside the cabin on a stone drive and shrubs and window boxes Wow Ray really did a number on renovating this old cabin.
The inside was even better, he even had a kitchen with running water, just mind-blowing if you had seen what this place had looked like before. I could not believe Ray had electric ran in from the highway, but he did, Hat Tip to Ray, For he did what he said, told me not to worry he would take care of it and he did as promised. It was a nice breakfast with an old wooden table with a gingham tablecloth, Sara cooked up Bacon and eggs toast and coffee it was divine. After breakfast Bill says let's go out on the porch and have a smoke and bring your coffee with you so I Did.
And Bill says, can I talk to you frankly, I say sure what's up, well for starts I can't thank you enough for all you have done for me and my family, I prayed to god so many times for help,I had almost given up ,and as he says this he begins to cry and his wife was listening to our conversation, and she begins to sob and cry, and bill asks me why did I do the things to help him and Sara, I say to him you might have a hard time believing what I am going to tell you both, I heard a voice ,and it said to me as clear as day . You must help these People, For I Will Be With You, and he was every step of the way. When He is on your side let no one stand against you. Now I am crying too, all 3 of us and we hug one another and I say goodbye, I was never to see Bill and Sara again, and I left it in His hands, when I recall these events in my life I am filled with a Joy that "ONLY HE AND THE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT", Can Give you . And if you listen you may someday hear his voice.
