A retired county judge was zip-tied and killed in his Wisconsin home on Friday.
Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul said the shooting death of retired Juneau County Judge John Roemer was a “targeted act.”
The suspected gunman, who was identified as Douglas Uhde, 56, had a ‘hit list’ that included Michigan Governor Whitmer, Senator McConnell, and Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers.
To recap this guy's story,
-2001 commits armed robbery of a home
-2002 plead no contest and was sentenced to 10 years in prison plus seven years of supervision for this robbery.
-appealed and withdrew his no contest/guilty plea
-2005 in front of Judge John Roemer the case was heard again, and he was sentenced to 6 years
-2006 he escaped and was recaptured 3 weeks later
-2007 sentenced to 9 months for the escape
-2008 sentenced to 7 years in prison and 4 years of extended supervision because in that escape he fled from police and was driving a car he did not have the owner's permission to use. ( i think that means a stolen car)
-released on supervision in 2015
-returned to prison in 2019
-released in April of 2020
-stayed with his family for a short time then supposedly went to Kentucky or Tennessee to start his life over.
-Murders the second of many judges that convicted him 17 years ago.
-neighbors call the police saying they heard gunshots in the judge's home.
-4 hours later, the police go into the judge's home and say he had a self-inflicted gunshot wound and found a list of leftist politicians they claim he wanted to murder.
-Leftists started claiming he was part of a militia despite no evidence and his inability to own a gun.
I smell foul play
I have many questions... Why weren't any of the other judges' names on the list? What reason did he have to want to murder Gretchen Whitmer, Mitch McConnell, and Gov. Tony Evers, Whitmer that was greater than his reasons for wanting to murder the other judges that weren't on the list? How did he even get ahold of the judge's address? those records are not available to the public. As a convicted felon, where did he get a gun? Why did the cops take so long to go into a judge's home after a home invasion? The cops claimed to be negotiating with Douglas Uhde, but didn't hear him shoot himself? And then the cops refused to say whether he was working alone.
