Thank you, Christine Blasey Ford. The uncorroborated scandal in which you played the leading role, the one meant to take down Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh, backfired and is taking down the Democrat Party instead.
It’s never prudent to run away and join the circus even when it’s the likes of Democrat trusty Dianne Feinstein waving the carrot under the donkey’s nose.
The FBI’s supplemental background investigation on Kavanaugh, his 7th, turned up nothing new, and in reality, includes Christine Ford and friends.
Rather than a bevy of new sexual assault victims being brought forward to serve yet another media feeding frenzy, the White House stated this morning that it’s “fully confident” that Justice Kavanaugh will eventually be confirmed to the Supreme Court.
That statement comes with a huge dollop of poetic justice: “Polls show a Democratic edge in voter enthusiasm has completely vanished”.
Millions among the masses are relieved that uncorroborated accusations of sexual assault will not become the Supreme Court nomination norm in America. They are relieved because of the male loved ones in their families.
At day’s end It’s not Dr. Christine Ford who will be longest remembered by the public masses but the Democrats, who in their hate-fueled mission to take down President Donald Trump, through Kavanaugh, will be remembered for attempting to toss Rule of Law and Due Process out the window.
In July, there was a 10-point gap between the number of Democrats and Republicans saying the November elections were “very important.” Now, that’s down to 2 points, a statistical tie.
Democrats’ advantage on which party Americans want to control Congress has also been cut in half since last month. Democrats still retain a 6-point edge on that question, but it was 12 points after a Marist poll conducted in mid-September. The results come amid the pitched and hotly partisan confirmation battle over Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court. Multiple women have accused Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct from high school and college. He categorically denies all the allegations.
“The result of hearings, at least in short run, is the Republican base was awakened”, noted Lee Miringoff, director of the Marist Institute for Public Opinion, which conducted the poll.
And now the FBI supplemental investigation into the accusations has come back empty.
The latest Democrat brouhaha has done something even passionate patriots couldn’t do: they awakened the sleepy-head, do-nothing Republican base.
In their latest round, the Democrats tried to morph sexual assault accusations into a ‘Kavanaugh’s got the wrong temperament to serve on the Supreme Court’ scandal.
Their absurd accusations that Kavanaugh threw ice during a teenage brawl went from ‘The Ice Man Cometh’ to the ‘Ice Man Goeth’ almost overnight.
Given that the Dems are driven by self-consuming, out of control hatred, they’ll be back before November 6 with other concocted smears. They’ll be out there trying to unhinge the already unhinged. Case in point: Alleged groper Cory (Spartacus), aka ‘Sparky’ Booker is on the record for suggesting that Kavanaugh should not be nominated to the Supreme Court even if he’s innocent.
The #Me Too hashtag will now have to be expanded to #MeTooWantsToSaveMyMaleRelatives. That’s because the Mothers who want to save their little boys from character assassination before they even get out of grade school vastly outnumber Hollywood stars and elected senators keeping the movement mobile.
Meanwhile, like the so many others under furious attack by the spittle-flecked prog-left, Brett Kavanaugh was only down, but never out.
