#1 Mary Had A Precious Lamb:
Mary had a Precious Lamb. His fleece was white as snow. Everywhere His Father sent the Lamb was sure to go. He healed the sick and raised the dead and it is plain to see; by His own Power, the path He led, was one He chose to lead. They followed Him to pray one day. His hour of death was near. While His disciples slept away He drank the cup of fear. The purple robe, the Crown of Thorns, the cross of Calvary...Remind me of Redeeming Blood He shed to die for me. Mary had a Precious Lamb. His fleece was white as snow. The sweetest gift to share is Him... Because we love Him so.
Easter Poem #2 My Lord Designed it All:
They mocked and scorned my Savior, long ago in that Roman Hall. A Crown of Thorns they made Him...But my Lord designed it all! When the soldiers stripped Him naked He wore a world of sin. For a Crown of Thorns, He traded His Royal Diadem. The soldiers had no power except that above. For Calvary’s darkest hour begins and ends with Love. When His Scarlet Robe was taken He planned it just that way...To wear our sins of scarlet up Calvary’s Hill that Day.
Easter Poem: #3 He Stayed on the Cross:
This whole world was made by my Lord’s Holy Hand. But He was betrayed by the devil and man. He came to redeem all the souls that He loved. He stayed on the Cross till He shed His Life’s Blood. The people stood mocking, “If Thou art the King, come down from the Cross then and rule over things.” He paid no attention to men’s ridicule. He stayed to the finish for me and for you. “Dear Lord, please forgive me when trials come round. You stayed on the Cross and you didn’t get down. You’ll never forsake me. You’ll always be there. No matter how heavy the cross I must bear.” He stayed on the Cross but not in the grave. He rose from the dead on that first Easter Day...and whoso Believeth...your soul He will save. Just ask His forgiveness. Your sin debt is paid.
Easter Poem: #4 Three Days:
They said His Name was Jesus. Some called Him Mary’s Son. His mother’s heart was broken when she knew the hour had come. They crucified my Savior, They laid Him in that grave. they thought His Life was over but He rose in just Three days. They call it Easter Morning when my Lord rose from the dead...But call it Grace and Mercy when He died there in our stead. The Scriptures were fulfilling although they did not know. He laid His Life down willing...Two thousand years ago.
Easter Poem: #5 Truth Versus Fiction:
Truth versus fiction but the truth is much stranger. Heaven’s God’s Throne and this world’s His footstool. He was born of a virgin and placed in a manger. Who’d trade such Glory for such ridicule? Who else could love all the people who hate them? Who else would suffer and die in their place? They never dreamed that the place where they laid Him soon would hold nothing but an empty space.// Isn’t it strange how the soldiers who killed Him owed Him the very own lives they had lived? Isn’t it strange how the Cross where they nailed Him tied to the promise He made to forgive? Truth versus fiction but truth is much stranger! Heaven’s God’s Throne and this world’s His footstool. He was born of a virgin and placed in a manger. Now, who’d trade such glory for such ridicule?
Easter Poem: #6 I’m in Love with the Carpenter:
I’m in love with the Carpenter. He’s building me a mansion. There’s nobody in the world that He loves more than me. / I’m in love with the Carpenter. He’s got my full attention. I’m in love with the Carpenter and He’s in love with me.
Many days He walked on earth lonely and rejected ...by the family of the Carpenter who lived across the sea. // Long before His earthly Birth He only loved and Blessed them,,, But they Crucified the Carpenter who walked through Galilee.
Fall in love with the Carpenter. Give Him your full attention. There’s nobody in the world that He loves more than you. // Fall in love with the Carpenter with all your sins forgiven. Fall in love with the Carpenter...For He’s in love with you!
Easter Poem: #7 I want to Talk about the US!
Don’t talk about me. I want to talk about us. I want to talk about America, “IN GOD WE TRUST!” TALK ABOUT OUR SOLDIERS AND THE PATH THEY TROD! TALK ABOUT OUR NATION THAT IS UNDER GOD. TALK ABOUT OUR SAVIOR WHO ONCE WALKED ON EARTH. KEEP OUR CHRIST IN CHRISTMAS AND HIS BLESSED BIRTH. TALK ABOUT THE BLOOD HE SHED FOR YOU AND ME...AND HOW HE DIED FOR EVERYONE AT CALVARY! Don’t talk about me! I want to talk about us! I want to talk about...AMERICA, “IN GOD WE TRUST!”
