At this point, no honest America can say Joe Biden is fit to be president. The man is 80 years old. He shuffles around like a nursing home patient. And every time he appears on camera, he looks tired, confused, and totally unaware of his surroundings.

Only the very worst humans on the planet refuse to admit this. Including most Democrats. They forced Biden to appear at a special event for Kennedy Center Honorees.

It Must Always Be 'Merry Christmas'

Decades ago, when I was a liberal Democrat, I bought into the fallacy that saying “Merry Christmas” was wrong. But back then, I also thought murdering a baby in the womb was right. As (my husband and) I slowly morphed into Reagan Democrats and then finally abandoned the now Marxist-leaning Democrat party to register as Republicans, I realized that celebrating Christmas is fundamental to the United States remains a beacon of freedom in the world. Commemorating Christmas guarantees freedom of religion for all Americans.

Think about it. If a nation where about 80 percent of its population is Christian is denied its own religious beliefs (“Merry Christmas” morphing into “Happy Holidays”), what chance do smaller religions such as Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, etc. have for celebrating their holidays? If woke Marxists can remove the nativity scene from Christmas and replace it with Santa Claus, it’s even easier to remove the Hanukkah menorah and replace it with Liberace’s candelabra.

 

What the 'Respect for Marriage Act' Really Respects

Last week, Congress passed the "Respect for Marriage" Act.  As usual, the name the proponents (or, sometimes, opponents) invent for the bill does not accurately represent its purpose.  You may remember that the "For the People" Act was a lot less useful to the people than it was to the Democrat party.  The "Inflation Reduction Act" did nothing to reduce inflation.  And the "Don't Say Gay" bill did not ban the word "gay."

The "Respect for Marriage" Act purportedly "legalizes" same-sex "marriage."  Because the Supreme Court already ruled on this matter, the law does not expand legal protection for same-sex couples in any way.  The law, in part, requires private businesses to perform services they object to on moral grounds.  This law should be called the "disrespect for personal freedom" act.
