Questions that Won't be Asked by the January 6 Commission
The January 6 commission held a dramatic first hearing with lots of crocodile tears and a few real ones. As usual, the Democrats, and the two Democrat-friendly Republicans, seemed to agree on an emotional approach to the topic at hand to gain the advantage over their political opponents. However, they failed to ask and answer important questions.

Rep. Ronny Jackson, Predicts Biden will be Forced to Resign
OK, BIDEN STEPS DOWN, WAS THAT THE PLAN ALL ALONG? NOW HOW DO WE GET RID OF HIS VICE PRESIDENT SHE'S ANOTHER PUPPET, AND THE NEXT IN LINE WOULD BE SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE, PELOSI BY THE CONSTITUTION. WHAT MESS THE DEMOCRATS PUT THE COUNTRY IN.
Jackson said Biden 'needs a cognitive exam,' the results of which should be made public
Rep. Ronny Jackson, the former White House physician-turned-congressman, says he’s "terrified for our country" in the wake of President Joe Biden’s televised town hall this week — and doubts whether the commander in chief has the cognitive ability to make it through a full term.
Hearing on “Perspectives on Court Reform
The Presidential Commission on the Supreme Court of the United States is a misguided and potentially dangerous endeavor because it will feed the misperception that the justices on the Supreme Court are just partisans and politicians and lend credence to attempts to manipulate the design and structure of the judiciary in the hopes that it will produce decisions that satisfy a particular political agenda. The only reason this Commission was established is that former President Donald Trump appointed three justices to the Supreme Court of the United States during his one term, and that prompted President Joe Biden to declare when he was on the campaign trail that the Supreme Court “is getting out of whack.” If the Senate had confirmed Merrick Garland in 2016 and a President Hillary Clinton had named the replacements for Justices Anthony Kennedy and Ruth Bader Ginsburg—thereby resulting in a six-to-three split in favor of Democrat-appointed justices, those now insisting on “reforming” the Court would not be saying that the Court is “out of whack.”

Orwell’s 1984 and Today
Orwell’s 1984 and Today
a nation such as ours. America is the most deliberate nation in history—it was built for reasons that are stated in the legal documents that form its founding. The reasons are given in abstract and universal terms, and without good scholarship, they can be turned astray. I was reminded of that essay because this event was the greatest exhibition in my experience of the combination of the scholarship and the politics of freedom. The panel was part of an initiative of President Trump, mostly ignored by the media, to counter the New York Times’ 1619 Project. The 1619 Project promotes the teaching that slavery, not freedom, is the defining fact of American history. President Trump’s 1776 Commission aims to restore truth and honesty to the teaching of American history.

Progressivism’s Collapse and Why it Matters
A couple of weeks ago, in a lengthy piece at the Weekly Dish, Andrew Sullivan lamented about the “radicalization of the American elite against liberalism.” While this appears so to Sullivan’s eyes, this radicalization doesn’t much involve conversions. It’s not as if card-carrying liberals suddenly became card-carrying leftists of varying stripes. Fellow travelers and quislings there are, but that’s always the case with movements.
Sullivan does point out that conservatives haven’t radicalized; they’ve pretty much been anchored to the same center-right beliefs and values for a generation or more.

The 'Silent Majority' Is Rapidly Becoming the 'Angry Majority'
The "silent majority" was mentioned by President Nixon in 1969, who labeled middle Americans who weren't protesting the Vietnam war or joining the counter culture — two activities being over-reported by the media of the day. The silent majority didn't speak up much but respected traditional American values with a good-natured approach to political issues.

Big Brother Biden Colludes With Big Tech Censors
I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.
The words above reportedly originated with an English author named Evelyn Beatrice Hall in 1906. There is a different version in French, but I do not think it is authentic:
First Amendment
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

New Evidence Indicates Enough Illegal Votes In Georgia To Change 2020 Results
Even if Arizona's and Georgia's 2020 election count is overturned, changing a single state's election results does not remove President Biden from office. Neither does revoking multiple state elections. The time to dispute election results is before the president is sworn into office. There is no precedent or framework for revoking Biden's Electoral College "win."
If you're going to bounce Biden, it has to be by court order or impeachment. Neither of these is going to happen. Let's start with the courts. The High Court has an absolute right to refuse any case for any reason. Remember how the Supreme Court, like brave Sir Robin, bravely ran away from Texas v. Pennsylvania? Clearing this hurdle would require Chief Justice John Roberts, a man best known for bravely failing to meet his own low standards of excellence, to man up. Honestly, what are the odds?
Carlson has never been one to hold back, to begin with, but now, he's transcended to a whole new level.
The tell-it-like-it-is Fox News commentator teased audiences with an announcement that he'll be sharing election frɑud details about the highly contested results in Fulton County, Georgia.
Are We Witnessing The Death Of America’s Democratic Republic?
Although this journal is called the American Thinker it can be useful to hear the observations of a non-American thinker on what appear to be bewildering and growing problems in America.
Public safety is perhaps the pre-eminent responsibility of government. If a government cannot protect its citizens against criminal members of its society, or even against the unlawful behavior of government itself, that nation no longer deserves to call itself a functioning democracy.

Communist Theocracy in China
The Communist Party of China runs a theocracy. Founded 100 years ago, it has followed a trajectory away from Western Marxism toward the religious precepts of China two-and-a-half millennia ago. Under Xi Jinping’s leadership, the Chinese Communist Party has robustly revived the Chinese Imperial structure, which was first institutionalized in 221 BCE, whereby Chinese life experiences were directed by the authorities towards discipline and order. Mohism is the theocratic justification for totalitarian control of culture, society, politics, and the economy proposed by the ancient political philosopher Mozi (470-391 BCE) that undergirded the Imperial structure.

Donald Trump: America's first project management president / Trump v. Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, et al
Donald Trump, as president, was terrific. A breath of fresh air from the dull, boring, self-serving members of the swamp. But what really made him stand out was his delivery of work products of substance.
Donald Trump comes from the world of project management. When Donald Trump's organization builds commercial properties, it delivers them based upon not good intentions, hot air, and lying to the stakeholders by claiming activities are results. Stuff really has to be done. In Trump's private business world, this means well-planned projects managed by competent project managers who live and die on meeting task schedules with solid deliverables.

2021 4th of July – Declaring Our Independence Again
HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY 245 YEARS NOW, FROM ALL OF US HERE AT FRIENDS OF LIBERTY BLOGS TO ALL OF YOU MY FRIENDS, AND TO OUR SERVICEMAN AND THEIR FAMILIES. MAY GOD BLESS THE REPUBLIC FOR WHICH IT STANDS, ONE NATION UNDER GOD!
By Lex Greene
For far too many years now, millions of Americans have celebrated July 4th with almost a total disconnect from the purpose of the national holiday and the reason for the season. For decades, this all-important AMERICAN national holiday has been celebrated as little more than a legitimate reason to take a day off work, enjoy a big cookout, have some beers and cocktails, and watch some fireworks.
But this time, July 4, 2021 – the time has arrived to refocus all citizens on the purpose of the celebration, honoring all who created our free sovereign Constitutional Representative Republic following their Declaration of Independence from British rule, 245-years ago.
